Now, that is one FINE machine!  My dream car!  If you don't mind me asking, how close to sticker did you pay?  I'm seeing a lot on ebay, autotrader, etc. that are asking $45k to $49k and they just keep relisting and relisting.  Are these jewels going for the premium $$ the dealers are asking or is the market a little soft on this expensive of a roadster right now?  I'm shopping and hoping to have some bonus cash in a couple of months and hoping that cash will talk and I can get one for around $40k.....

I actually paid right at $45,000 for mine.  I did some checking and they are ranging from $40K-50K so I feel that $45,000 is a fair price for the car.  I think they are definitely worth the money they're asking, it's a sweet car and if it's taken care of will only appreciate in value with time.

I couldn't be happier with purchasing my car.  I plan on keeping it for a very long time.

I was at Village Ford in Dearborn Michigan on Saturday and they have a brand new 08 GT500 convertible, same blue as yours but no stripes and they want 10K over sticker as a Market Adjustment!

They are beautiful cars! Plus that Super Charged 5.4L is unbelievable!

I tried finding one last fall but could not find one in my area. The only one I did find I offered 59K cash offer to the dealership and they said NO! They wanted 65K for it at the time!

So I ended up with my Steeda.

When I bought the Shelby, they had a 2008 GT500 that was white.  I couldn't tell if it had stripes on it or not as it was elevated.  The sticker price was $45,000 and they did a $15,000 markup on it.  The $60,000 pricetag was too hard for me to swallow so I went with the Shelby which was a much nicer car I think.

So far so good on mine, but it only has 900 miles on it (all highway).  It's been sitting in storage for the last 2 weeks since I'm away on a business trip.  I will let you know if any problems do arise though.

What kind of problems are you having with it if you don't mind me asking???

Love the big photos!
That's exactly the kind of convertible Shelby GT I'd get, except I'd want a little more space in the trunk, so I'd have have put the money into the stock Navigation unit.

I wonder why Shelby didn't put black Bullitts on that color.

Yeah, that's the only bad thing about convertibles is that you seriously lose trunk space.  But it is definitely worth it.  I love having a convertible and I wouldn't change it for more trunk space.  :)  I just had a DVD player installed with Navigation.  I'll post more photos of that when I get back from Miami and get my car out of storage.

i have thought about going with something like that, well i really like the JLs anyway, but i am still a little afraid of taking away value from the car, so it is stock for now, until somebody can convice me hat it would be ok to put some audio and maybe even borlas on?

It won't take away from the value of the car.  If you keep the original, you just have it put back on before you sell it.  :)

So I saw a twin to your Shelby GT today at Ford and checked it out.

I really liked it, even though I wish they had upgraded the brakes. The price was a little outrageous. Sticker was $37,000 + about $9,000 for the Shelby Package + the $1,000 gas guzzler package.

I think the trick is to wait on these until the end of the month or year. This is if we're to believe those deals we keep hearing about!

I'm not a big fan of no spoiler. Check out the spoiler store on Ebay and get yourself a nice GT500 spoiler... or something. :)

Looks great though!
im not a fan of v6's
lol--my feeling

By the way gorgeous car the color is great.Be very careful over bumps it easy to scrape that front end.
