Default HEADER QUESTIONS???

Which header makes more power on 87 5.0 when changing heads and cam between equal length shorties or full length? Is it worth the extra work to go with long tubes??What about brand?Ive seen flow techfull length ,from summit racing ,for 265.00 with cermaic coationg. That seems like a real good deal but how well do they perform ?What about mac brand .Thats what i've got now but iwant the ceramic look. Mac brand ceramic are 100.00 more.

Default RE: HEADER QUESTIONS???

mac is deffinately better way to go , i have not heard to many good things about the summit flow tech ceram's but i have had flowtech headers on other cars and they are poor quality .you will get more power with long tube but you get better sound with shorties so it is like a catch 22 . but i would go with the mac headers for quality and some lasting looks.

im a bbk fan, long tubes will make more power, then equal shorties, then unequal shorties. ceramic coated is a plus yes
