buying some cobra r's this week, whats  everyones opinion on chrome vs. polished, i know the chrome shine is better but is it worth it if they only last about five years, when polished last a lifetime just more elbow grease.

5 yrs vs. a lifetime.  hmmm.  Sounds like you answered your own question to me.  I bought chrome rims 10 years ago for my truck and they look like crap now.  I just bought some polished wheels for my stang, so they should look as good 10 years from now, or a lifetime from now.  Go with the polished unless your not planning on keeping the car for more than 5 years.  or getting other wheels later.

Well in my personal opinion i would like to sell you some chrome wheels. But I actually like the polished look better. If you take car of them they will look good for a good long time. I personally havent ever had a set of wheels longer than a few years, so i really dont worry about that issue. Which is something to consider, do you really plan having those wheels that long?

chrome=heavy, polish=harder to keep clean.  I'd go polished, but you have to polish the hell out of them when they get duller.

That polishing ball is amazing!  Spend your money, you'll love it.  Used it many many times
