R u another one these Cobra owners who has the car for no purpose. First off I have 04 We dont have the recall problem with the Top of Piston hitting the Head. I ran the car that nigth 7 Times back to back in 60 degree weather and Have run my motor hard az hell from day one and its, Still in running hard. You do know babying motors is how to blow one right. Let me guess when you were breakin your motor in you didnt even think about steping on it for at least 500 to 800 Miles WOW yeah that will defelty make your piston Rings Seal really good l

You need to really learn somethings about your car. First off, ALL2003/2004 Cobra/Mach 1's can have this problem. The updated heads weren't produced until January 2005, so unless you spent the $1200.00 on the new updated heads, you do not have the "fix"... blue stripe or not.
Second, yes the bottom half of the motor is pretty damn stable... but the top half is not, you will grenade your motor doing 170mph runs. The car isn't made for those type of runs. I have seen people bone stock, and people with as little as a pulley grenade their motor doing that. There are a few different things you really need to do to help the cooling on your motor. The heat on the motor is what blows them apart. If you need anymore confirmation go read some old posts at svtperformance.com.
Third, doing 170mph runs on public streets is just flat out stupid. We all race, and im not going to call you stupid for racing - because im not a hypcrite. BUT... doing 170mph runs is just flat out dumb. All that needs to happen is you get a groove in the road, or a tire blow out.. your tires probably aren't even rated for those speeds... It's like playing russian roulette.
...Keep running your motor, and you will have a rebuild.. maybe sooner, maybe later, but it won't be to long. I'll put the deed to my home on that.

I just dont get it, IT called stupid wanna be racer who probably just got a COBRA, thinks its the baddest thing to ever roll the streets so lets drive it 170mph and kill some poor innocent family who desn't see the mind boggling 440rwp flying down the road.

You think Iam goint be saying what I did when I didnt have the head work done second I had the Afco Heat exchanger since day one and water wetter which makes a different in the motor and heat soak 3rd It looks like your the one who doesnt understand that Cobras werent really made to go to the Strip It was a track car that is why they put IRS in the first place and wait what does all most every road course have in between the truns It called Stench Straighaway You know where your suppose top out the car I have done this form day one and My motor has allways ran strong and will always dude your are complelty under estimating what your own Cobra can do And I have Been Racing and Drfting all my Life I had My Cobra with bone stock suspension sideways at 140 and it was Stable az hell and I have Smoked Evos 8s and 9 which had 400 to the wheels Ferraris Vipers on Turns on I95 And Iam not taking about drag racing Iam talking about racing on Turns. Even my friedns 390 Horsepower Evo9 he tells me to stop bull sh1ting him when I would tell him this And we went out to the Freeway I passed on the a Turn that had 11 degree bend and He could catch me OK Evo9 You Street Legal Rally car so Dont be tell me that I am Stupid for having a skill whihc you will never have

More like stupid and a bunch of BS..........If your sucha Bad Azz driver why don't you do it professionally on a closed course? I mean wow man, you can get your car sideways at 140 and have it all under control. You should race formula 1 or nascar.

+1.. throwing B.S. flag... probably a 19 year old punk that just got the car... and I hope he realizes that "water wetter" doesn't do that much, and your AFCO heat exchanger only keeps the INCOMING temps cool.. it doesn't release the coolant in your #7 and #8 cylinder heads which is what pops the motor... since you've had head work done, why don't you tell us what you've had done?
Did anyone else catch that Evo 8 and 9s have 400rwhp? lol... Since he knows all this about cars, even if his "friends" modded cars all the way up, shouldn't he know that it's AWHP?
I would like to see a video of his "stock" suspension cobra taking turns at 140... I wonder if he knows that it's widely agreed on that Ford IRS is the worst IRS in the business. I'll be honest, I doubt the vids are even his.. I bet he found them and is just trying to start a fight....

First off....use a period every now and again. Hell...you could even get crazy and throw an exclamation mark in from time to time. Second...no car is "stable as hell" at 140 mph sideways. Go post somewhere where the forum members don't know anything about cars, physics or punctuation and you should be good to go.
