This link is from a Miata site but that doesn't matter for tires.

http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

EDIT: you have the correct stock size by the way.

Don't remember basic math? Use a tape measure....
Diameter x 3.14

Even better yet - use the rim/tire size:

diameter = (235mm/25.4mm/in x 55% x 2) + 17in = 27.18in
               ^^^                     ^^            ^^
            tire width            aspect ratio       rim diameter

circumference = diameter * pi = 27.18in x pi = 85.38in

Hi 07gttom,

Stop guessing!  Go out to your garage of a large flat area and bring a roll of blue masking tape and a tape measure.  Stick a piece of tape on the ground and on your tire aligned with each other in the same place.  Roll the car until the the tape makes one revolution and put another piece of blue tape on the ground.  Measure from one mark to the other and you will have the exact circumference of the tire you measured withoug any guesswork or even simple math.  This is how you measure tire roll out.

HTH!

Or go to tirerack.com or the tire manufacturers website and get the tire specs.

Hi Nuke,

Still guessing, nothing is more accurate than measuring your own tires on your own wheels.  Tire Rack is a good resource as a guide but they use the manufactures specs.

It doesn't matter because the speedometer in these cars is inaccurate as all hell!  The computer sends the correct speed, but the needle just can't seem to display it correctly.  My aeroforce gauge shows a 3mph slower speed than the speedo and I confirmed this with gps and my wifes car.
