ok i was taking a little road trip this week and before i got to my destination, i hit a dip and it ripped a gaping hole in my exhaust and now i pretty much hit anything with my exhaust.  the weld ripped right thru and its hanging by a lil string we put on it i know ghetto rigged.  but it helped for 600 miles then right at the end it started sagging.  what can i do so it doesnt hit anymore with like 20 bucks? tighten the string? or rip the bend off with my hands the only bad thing bout ripping it off will be there my dual side exit will on single side exit and will look so retarded?  the weld is at the end of the x pipe there is nothing important after that, the mufflers and cats are before the x.

It will be loud if you rip it off.  You can't go to a muffler shop and have them weld it back on?

not sure how much itll cost, the tear it as big as the pipe itself and its actually right in the middle of the x pipe. i used some 8 inch clamps just now and their being held up fine now, just wondering when the rest of that break will break and fall off under me.

The cats should be before the X and the mufflers after ????

interesting....if you want some suggestions, post some pics of your pipe setup and of the damage. i think we really need visuals in your case to give any advice.
