Looks like that guy knows a lot of people want to buy OEM GT mufflers for their V6's. He's got a "Buy it Now" auction with 50 of them available.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7963749700&category=33636&sspagename=WD1V

$65 plus $39 for shipping for the pair of them. I wonder if anyone would sell just the passenger side one. I'd like to use that muffler but I don't want to do duals. Would be nice if I could get one cheaper.

Im a new member and also need some help/feedback:

I purchased a Flowmaster for my 2005 V6 and I sounded nice outside at idle but inside around 2K RPM the car sounded like a loud import exhaust. So inpursuit of finding an exhaust that emits a nice growl/deep rumble but is very nice sounding a cruise speed inside I purchased a Magnaflow muffler and now It sounds pretty close to original stock sound outside at idle and it still has somewhat of an deep import car sound at cruise. Ive been reading the forums and see that alot of people are buying the OEM GT mufflers and saying that they sound really nice and all seem satisfied with them. Any inputs on this would be very helpful as to if I should just keep the magnaflow on or switch to the GT muffler.

I might just get a GT muffler then since everyone seems happy with them cause im looking for a louder/deeper rumble outside with a minimal of interior resonance. The flowmaster 40 Series had a good rumble to them outside but at cruise speed the interior noise from the exhaust was a little too high pitched to how i would like mine to sound.

as soon as I have a chance to clean her up and take some pictures I'll post thoughts on my duals. I'll also be posting about my new wheels and very possibly about the removal of the rocker-panel graphics!

so probably friday or saturday..

I checked with my dealer about a GT muffler, $200. I then went to the local muffler shop and explained what I wanted. He suggested a Raven brand. Should have the right sound and has a lifetime replacement.$85 installed. It will be installed tomorrow. I'll post the results.
The same shop installed a muffler on my ZX2. It was just right and with a K&N filter the speed available in 3rd went from 70 to 75mph.

Had the RAVIN Z-series muffler and tip installed today. It came out just the way I wanted. It has a nice bark when you blip the gas or go through the gears. It does not rattle my cage at cruising speed.
I'm happy with it.

I hope I never grow up.

Hey everyone I thought It would be great to go back in time and rehash some old questions, take a look at former members and just get an idea of where this forum has come from. I'll do this everytime I log on just take a read through and maybe we can learn something together.
