LT's, o/r mid pipe either h or x, and a straight thru muffler delete such as loudmouths, boomtubes or pypes muffler deletes. i would suggest boomtubes, they sound the best out of those 3 IMO.

to make it loud you basically need to make it breath better: LT's instead of the stock shorty's, o/r to get rid of the cats, and straight thru mufflers are the loudest. and the LT's you can go w/ 1 3/4 since you are SC'd.

idk much about the gt500 specifically, but there are ARH and borla, ARH are supposed to be top quality, and i think kooks makes for the gt500 too and they are top quality as well.

I put a Borla cat-back exhaust system on my 2007 GT 500 and it sounds great! The local speed shop recommended them to me because he said their were very good quality and would have the mellow, throaty sound I wanted. Also, the Shelby Supersnakes will have Borlas on them, so that says a lot since the Shelby auto engineers picked Borla.
Get some long tube headers( Kooks or Bassani) an off road H-Pipe from MRT, SLP loud mouths and you will be happy , your neighbors may not like you much though. A good exhaust shop can can fab it all up i prefer the H over the X pipe it has a deeper tone. But it will cost you a bit to install. Or you can't go wrong with the full Bassani or Kooks off road system. As long as you have no troble codes and they cant look under your car( under a bay for example) you will pass inspection. You will need to tune your car with a handheld running off road exhaust, to get the most power and no trouble codes. If you leave the cats on it probobly will not be as loud as you want.

I'm running Kooks with cats 3" all the way back. Using there X pipe also. I would at the least go to SHM and get a cold air intake and the pulley kit and tune. The boost you have now will blead off due to the free flowing exhaust which makes the car sound not so good.
I can say personally I would like to quiet mine down and it's only a cruise or show car or the track. It's louder than most cars at the track and mine has cats and mufflers. We spent one year building the car but ended up with a car wicked fast with a sound that is mind blowing!
Hope some of this helps. Yes had the SLP loud mounths but hated them.

I have the Cervini's C-series kit that is the side pipes, it has mufflers, but when I put on the O/R pypes h pipe (no cats), it was so loud I couldn't hear myself think...
For ease, you could just do SLP LMs and an o/r h pipe and of course LT headers
Black 07 CS/GT bone stock no more. Bamachips Race Tune, C&L "Race" Intake, XCAL 3 Tuner, SLP Loudmouths, 15% Tint up front, Limo in rear, Moleskin, Pioneer AVIC-D3.
Your neighbors will care! Take a lessen from the motorcycling community which I have been part of for 30 years. Dozens of citys parks etc are banning load vechicles and bikes with DB's higher than stock. The only ones to blame for these types of laws are the ones with the loudest motorcycles who pissed off enough registered voters to get these types of laws passed. Same is happening with autos. I'm not juding you by any means do what floats your boat but be forwarned that your load pipes will only add fuel to the fire. Save it for the race tracks.
