I can't believe he pulled me over for tints and smoked taillights! He was like "you better take that from your back lights i cant see your brake light!" It took me awhile to explain him that the whole kit comes like that and it's legal (i think it is), and i also have the third light which is not smoked. So he let me go but said "Sir, you better take that off or do something, you are going to be pulled over again!" Hell no I'm not taking anythig off!

Btw that was on the way back from school and he is always there...I'm sure he'll pull me over again. From now on I'll drive with my lights on there, so he can see!

Tail light tint is illegal in all 50 states. Don't complain because he enforced a law you broke. You cannot impede light transmission on tail/brake lights. Car companies have to meet standard brightness for safety reasons.

What the h are you all talking about?! Should've he shot me for having smoked tails? I am seeing those on the streets every single day on various vehicles, and don't tell me you don't. There is no way the cop can make me take them off on the spot because he can't make me drive with no lights! The problem is that that happened in rich neighbourhood where cops have nothing to do but write the tickets for tints. And for the record, this is NOT what gives a majority of mustang drivers bad names. It's guys like you driving your 400+HP at 120+mph!

You're a moron. You broke a law and got a warning. Deal with it. What is bitching about it and saying you're not gonna take them off gonna do?

Ok, I'm not going to argue here....but the guy saying "this is what gives a majority of mustang drivers bad names" has no clue. My record is clean as a tear, otherwise he would've fined me. However, the day I get the ticket I'm taking them off.

ummm.. you DO give most mustang drivers a bad name. look at your attitude. typical highschool student that knows everything. you said yourself you argued with the cop that he apparently doesn't know the law and you do. grow up, son.

Modding any car gives an 'excuse' to the police to stop, ask & inspect. Window tint, aftermarket lights, neon, loud stereo, etc. have all been codified in the law ... live with it. If you want to be different, expect to stand out ... and expect "the man" to take notice.
BTW ... don't ever step on a sleeping lion's tail. He will bite you.
