FUNDS FINALLY ACQUIRED!! PROJECT UNDERWAY!
this project will be dubbed "operation twin charged". I finally have acquired the funds to complete this project. Here is a break down on what I am doing (it has already begun):
starting with my 2001 SVT Cobra
5.1L Billet Stroker
Stage 3 cams
Stage 3 Ported 03 cobra heads
03 cobra lower intake manifold with intercooler
3.4L whipple
Garrett 88mm Turbo, custom fabricated kit, with 3 core intercooler...
some of the issues that are going to get annoying:
so far, choice of MAF sensors.....
This project should eclipse the 1300 rwhp mark, so obviously the sctba3000 is not going to be up to the task.
Possible choice of MAF is now the PMAS cyclone blow- thru maf... still trying to figure out how that MAF will react with SCT tuning software. Calibrating it for 150lb injectors....
Yesi am aware of all of the controversy behind twin charging, but i have done my homework. I also now have access to hellions research... i was provided some info, that was kept secret... and no, im not talking about their hellraiser kit... they have another kit that is in R&D right now.
