I have been peeking at that one too. However, I actually traded in my C5 Z06 for an 06 Saleen w 4400 miles on it (paid 36k). To me it was the nicest looking car ever, and practically brand new). They are rated at 435 HP in 06 though not 465 as per the Ebay add(no biggie). Anyway, I loved driving the Saleen, and got nothing but complements all in one day. However, I cannot believe the difference in power. It felt nothing like the Vette. I went back yesterday afternoon, and convinced them to tear up the paperwork from the night before, and got my Z back. The power difference between the 2 was way too significant. Ironically, I got me Vette sold last night, and want to buy some king of Mustang. I still think the Saleen may be the nicest looking car I ever seen, but the Extreme is too expensive, and so are the GT500's. I am really stuck right now....
OMG. That is a frickin good deal for 06 SC Saleen with the upgraded custom paint. The paint job itself is worth 18k. That car is steal for whoever buys it. Wish I had the money.
with that paint, I'd be a little wary on why it was going for 35K? Unless there is a family issue that is driving that sale. With all the home foreclosures going onI bet people are selling toys left and right to save the house.

I see that car was listed before, and did not sell. Here is the thing, I actually called, and spoke to the guy. That is a $17000 option (I called Sallen to ask). Which one of us is willing to pay a lot of extra money for the paint? I honestly thing the Silver, or Tungsten Grey look nicer. Given that, I do see that 06 SC Saleens do come up for 35k here, and there. I just think there are not many of us willing to pay extra for paint. Draws attention, but aside for that ridiculous price that Saleen charges for that paintjob, it is the same as any other 06. Just my two cents.....
but cmon! Someone should jump on this.. Not only get a very rare car, you get to be even rarer than your Saleen brothers with the paint. Dont forget to mention its already SCed..... never seen a better deal than this.

See if you can find a Roush P51 - same hp as the Corvette Z06. They are starting to get to dealers now.
