My engine blew in my 99 cobra so i decided to build up a 800+hp capable motor i am definatly supercharging it with a kennebell 2.1 big bore probably pushing 18 psi . My questions for you gentlemen is what rotating assemblies, cams, heads do you recommend...please remember there is a budget but i know this will not be cheap

you are not going to be anywhere close to 800 hp , sorry not with the biggest k/bell they make you will need a turbo to make that kind of power big single or med twins.also you will need full drag susp. to make any use of 800 hp on the street, 640 is to much, id get beat by a honda rigth now as it is.i got some 335/35/17s hoosiers coming fridaymto se if that will make it hook better then the nittos.

You are right but also wrong. he wil not be anywhere near 800 hp with the build he is describing. first off a 2.1 kb does not exisist. and the smallest you cna buy new now is a 2.6. I would agree that a turbo really is the way to go if you are looking for that kind of power. on the flip side though one of the local guys here has made well into the 800's with a 2.8 KB on e-85, granted he has a small pulley and a big lower pushing 25 psi or more. but it can be done on the blower.just not the way th OP has described it..
oh yeah hope you have a lot of money.. if you go the turbo route and build your 99 motor to be 800 hp capable and go turbo you will be spending 20k+ i am doing it right now and my riunning total is nearing 25k.
Keep in mind your IRs cannot support that kind of power either so you will either have to build that or swap in a solid which is what i did, the ford 9" housing, gears and axles was almost 3k, and then you still need shock, control arms etc.
you will also need a new transmission, your stock one won't stand a chance.
new twin charging setup!!! first of its kind!!!!!!
can u say: 5.1L billet stroker + 3.4L Whipple + Single Turbo (88 or 94) = way over 1000 rwhp!!!!
i started my own thread already on the build... the build started today, and like i said, right now, our only road block is figuring out the MAF/ TUNING SOFTWARE combo that this is going to need!!!
so i say, give it about 3 weeks till its back up and running!!!
i just went with a single turbo, expecting to see about 800-850 hp, good luck with yours. you might want to looking into the tuning program they are using for the hell raiser kit from hellion. might give you some ideas.
yep, im actually working with hellion! i have personally met up with two of their r&d guys, and i was privileged some info that i MUST keep confidential.... but they are helping me out with the bugs... as far as i know, they are the only company that has extensively researched twin charging... but let me hint u this info!! they were a lot more successful with their "single" turbo, twin charging project. more power than the hellraiser made!!! and on PUMP GAS!!!NO METH!!! i probably already told u too much info! lol!!!! BUT let me just tell u this, it will work a lot more efficiently wiht the twin screw set up, than the roots eaton...
