Default Tremic-5spd Question

i am going thru my car top to bottom and i want to service my Tranny--mainly check the fluid level. is there a site with the info i need?? like were is the plug i take out to check level--how high the level should be and what fluid to use. thanx to all for all the previous info i have gotten on this site.

Is this a T5 or a 3550?? If it is a T5 the fill and drain plug is on the passengers side NOT THE DRIVERS SIDE there is a pivot bolt on the drivers side that if you unscrew it you will need to pull the trans apart. I would not check the level, I would change the fluid.
1. remove the drain plug
2. let the fluid drain
3. put the drain plug back in
4. remove the fill plug
5. refill trans

Note non WC T5 use gear oil,and WC T5s use ATF fluid
