in a way yes because in a situation like that if the tires break loose you would be expecting it to slide more, or they could of not slid and you could of just gotten traction

the GT comes standard with t-lok/lsd. just seems like a marketing strategy to keep a balance about which features will go on which car so that niether one gets left behind in expected sales.

ford wanted to keep the cost of the V6s down, so they used the 7.5 rear, the weakest diff is the tlok due to them needing room for the clutch packs so it is slightly weaker then the open diff, i blew my open diff on a 100% stock 3.8 auto, others have doen the same

no GT rear either, ive blown them on stock mach 1 power, get a true trac or a eaton

Glad you are OK, Epimetheus!!

I've had that happen to me as well.

However, WITHOUT the T-LOK I would have been dead meat.

The T-LOK gives you power to both wheels when you need it (all the time).

As was already mentioned, the fishtailing due to adding the limited slip becomes predictable.

The peg-leg is predictable in that the car won't go anywhere when you nail it, or has a tendancy to push to the left (center of the car).

The T-LOK as you will see below, tends to push to the right.

After many hours of grueling practice (hahaha) I've pretty much got it down to a science.

And I can make my wife freak out at a moments notice while remaining in perfect control through the gears!

I could have gone into 3rd but she would have beat me...

LOL
