i know this question is prolly asked all the time.  but my friend wants to do the swap and we're trying to find out what all we would have to change for the swap.  so if someone could tell me really quick what alls needed or give me a link to a previous thread id appreciate it.  I tried searching this but nothing came up, not sure why.  The car is a 02 coupe 5speed, not sure if this would make a difference at all.
thanks!

I belive the main thing youll need is the computer/wireing harness. K-member motor mounts.....the 5-speed should bolt up (correct me if im wrong)

But I think it will be easyer to just swap a carbed 5.0 in. (cheaper also.)

see we thought it would he harder to swap in a 5.0.
i told him id give him my old 5.0 for nothing after i do my motor swap but we thought it would be easier to do a 4.6 than the 5.0.
however he wants it fuel injected, neither of us are carb guys.

I'll put it this way.

Can it be done - yes

Should you do it - not unless you have a donor car and/or plan to do every bit on the work and endure the headache!

You can't use the 5 spd. from the V6 on the V8 unless you change the bellhousing.

The 5.0 is an easier swap for the early SN95's. The 4.6L is an easier swap for the New Edge's.

I really wouldn't advise it. Sounds like you and your friend would try to attempt it and then end up having to take the car to a licensed mechanic and pay 5k for the mechanic to fix all of your mistakes.
