WOW!!! that is a SCREEEEEEMING deal if its true. I called my AR rep. about it and asked and he said that he is loosing money if he is selling them at that price. He told me that the absolute lowest price he could by them for if he bought 100 at a time would be $155 each x4 puts you at $620 for the set and leaves on $59 for shipping and you cant ship 4 20x9 rims for $59. So the math just doesnt add up there. This might be one of those cases that "if it sounds to good to be true it is"
OK, i got the scoop. They bought some on a closeout deal from AR that were being sold cheap because on the first production run when they made the wheels they did not make them so that they would clear the breaks on the Shelby mustang and what good is a shelby wheel if it wont fit a shelby mustang. So they redesigne the back side of teh spokes to clear the larger shelby calipers and sold all the old ones off dirt cheap to get rid of them. They are no longer available at $679.99 shipped. So 2007redfiregt you got a screeeeming deal. Good job!!!
nm3, i spoke with my AR rep about the price on the gunmetal ones as well. right now they do not have me at any discount level at all becaue i dont do much business with them becaue they keep changing reps. on me so i got tired of having to educate a new rep. to our business every month, but they promised to send someone out in the next week to meet with us and put us on a decent discount level based on the sales we do with other vendors. So if you can be patient until next week i should have some info. for you, but based on the numbers he gave me i should be able to do the entire wheel and tire combo for $1499.99 plus shipping.
I knew that was a GREAT DEAL at $679.00 shipped. I must had him repeat the price 5 times or more, so I pulled out the Discover card and said ship it. Showed up in 3 days in perfect shape. Thank God for GREAT DEALS.
