Ok, so tonight I was on my way home, and all of the sudden my airbag light came on. My car has not been hit recently, but I have been noticing a crackling when she first starts. Does anyone know what this is about?

May have something to do with the passenger airbag recall# 08C02, I don't know?? Call dealer to see if you need to have your RCM (not PCM) reprogrammed.
