Default just to clarify:explorer intakes

Ive read reviews about the upper and lower intakes. Some said they were worth it and some said no.So will I see a increase in Performance if I get the upper and lower intakes? If I get a pre-97.5 explorer intake do I still have to drill holes for the EGR valve?any other mods I'll have to do?THANKS!

What is the combination of engine parts the intake would be going on?

dont know exactly where you tap it, but the iat is intake air temp. basically tells the engine how hot it is today heres a link with info i read it a while back and dont remember the specifics off hand http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=551505

best place to put the IAT is out in the air intake tube somewhere. where it should have been put by Ford. Not in the intake runner where all it reads is heated air.

I removed one of the vacuum ports on the upper, drilled it out and tapped it for the air charge temperature sensor. I'm using the later model non-egr intake on my EFI swap. For the $200 I paid on Ebay, it was a good value.
