Can you S197 GT members just click on what you own. To my surprise it seems like the split is pretty close on here with regards to tranny choices. Thanks...

'06 GT automatic here. IF I could do it all over again, I'd go manual, but when I was buying, it was do or die, buy an auto, or forget buying a Mustang, so I figured auto was better than nothing, plus I rented the GTH (for a day!) and figured I could live with an auto Stang! I got a great deal on an '06 leftover,(got 'em from 31k sticker to 27k) there were 2 cars left , both autos. The dealer wouldn't budge below sticker on the new '07s, so I left w/ an auto car. I didn't want to walk,( got a good deal on my Vette trade-in) and then wait another year, and then the '07 leftovers would be autos too! Looked into selling privately, then buying another manual car, but I'd lose too much, plus getting married this year, I need every penny I have!! Auto isn't too bad, I can live with it, but I'd rather a stick!

Well said! Exact same situation! Except for the marriage part
I love the Auto for around here in the Detroit area. Too much stop and go for a manual in my opinion. Besides, it compliments the cup holders very nicely.

I had an 07' convertible in an auto before this one and I'm gald I went back to the manual. The auto was too boring for me, plus you can't rev it without slapping it into neutral or lunging forward. I've always owned manuals and will never go back.

The only reason the Manual are losing the race right now, is because the guys with the Sticks are out banging gears......they'll catch up later when they get home.
