auto for more consistency, minor mods coming out and the tranny would be ably to go over 600hp easly ( http://****/forum/showthread.php?t=4354)  , plus its better when you dragrace and you have f/i,

heres what I dont get,
the lightning Is a awesome truck,But no one  rants and raves about  it being a auto....

That's Genius! 
So you're saying that all the guys driving 5spd GTs would have really preferred an auto but couldn't afford one?  And those guys with their GT500s must be glad they don't come in an auto as being "forced" to buy a 6spd saves them a bunch of money!
Let's think about your statement for a minute.  Ahh, never mind.  It's not worth it.

Not all, but there must be some that opted for an $800 cheaper car. I did in the past. Didn't get AC. Not that AC is $800 but I'm sure you get my gest.
