It's an 05. Completely stock. Got about 75,000 miles. The other day I was picking up a friend and after she got in, I put the car in reverse and it didn't go. It was still in nuetral. I moved it back into the nuetral position, and then into reverse a few more times just to make sure it was the car, and not me, and it wasn't going into gear at all. After about 45 seconds to a minutes, it went into reverse. It's an auto trany. I was parked at an incline, but that shouldn't effect it. It wasn't even steep. Any ideas what could have caused that?

have you ever changed your transmission fluid? if not you certainly need to do that. other than that I'll let others on the board chime in.

Yea definately go get the tranny fluid and filter changed, its either low on transmission fluid or there is a much worse situation.
