'94 5.0 GT vs '06 RSX Type-S..?
 

Hey,

So a friend at school has an automatic convertible 1994 5.0 Mustang and asked to have a friendly race with my car. Now, I'm aware I have half his cylinders, and less than half his cylinder size [X(](2.0 I4). Both cars are completely stock. My RSX supposedly runs low 15s with ease, for those who aren't too familiar with imports :D.
With that said, I know that his gen of 5.0 stangs really aren't that quick, especially considering his is a vert + automatic.

Would I have a chance against this stang? Maybe from a roll?

You will probably beat him both ways (assuming you can drive)

Auto convertables can be verrrry slow, and the 94's aren't exactly the fastest mustangs out there

I beat one from a light the other day. I'm a bit faster than a 5.0 GT though (stock too)[8D].

your car has like 40 more hp than a regular gt, and its not a auto or an convertable


those 2 things more than anything else would hurt the 5.0's chances

If his car was a 5 speed it would be a fairly close race but you'll get him from a dig/roll. Not tractor trailers but you'll definitely know who won;)

If you can drive and land in v-tec, than you should win easily. I have alot of respect for RSX-S' and will give you this win definately.

I know I was just trying to stir up some **** [8D]. In all honesty my car is only good for low 14s once I learn how to launch the thing [>:].
