I have a 1994 chevy s10 for sale. The truck has a custom 4 link front suspension with race runner sway-a-way coilovers. The truck is riding on 35" BFG mud terrains on a dana44 front axle, and ford 9" rear. Both Detroit locked with 4.88s. Wheels are cheap 15" chrome steelies.Truck has the front clip converted to the 01 style front end with a nice grill. The truck has custom fiberglass flares coated in rhino lining made by the previous owner.
The truck iself has around 150,000miles, but nearly everything has been rebuilt. The stock 4.3 vortech was rebuilt and bored .030 about 50k ago. The 4L60E tranny was rebuilt around 20k ago, with a shift kit and various internal upgrades. The transfer case was overhauled arond 15k ago as well. The transfer case was out of an 89 chevy and is an NP233. Axles were out of a 79 F150.
The Bad: Truck has gotten a little rusty over the winter. The wheels have some decent surface rust on them, as well as the front bumper, and frame and link parts. None of it is too terrible, mostly just surface rust. The wheels and front bumper may be past restorable though without rechroming or replacing.
There is no stereo in the truck, and I'm not sure on the connections of the wiring, as it was all a mess when I got the truck and I never got around to getting a stereo in.
There is no shifter for the Tcase, so it stays in 4hi all the time, with the manual hubs unlocked. You can put it in 2wd by getting under the truck and reaching up and manually shifting the case, but it's a PITA.
Paint job on the truck is not the greatest. The bed has quite a bit of orange peel, and the cab forward has some minor scratches here and there.
Passenger window motor and lock motor are toast.
There is a hole about 10" diameter from the cab to the bed that the previous owner used as a sub port. I do have a nice tonneau cover for the truck though, so it's not a big problem.
The check engine light, ABS light, and parking brake light are always on. Parking brake does not work, needs adjusted or something. I haven't bother to check it out.
Truck also needs and exhaust and seats. I'd be willing to pick up some seats from the junkyard or osmething and putting em in for whoever buys it.
That's all I can think of for now. If you have any questions let me know. I'll post up a few pics, if you want some more let me know and I'll take them.
My name is Dan. You can contact me at 563-580-1300.
Asking price is $5,500 OBO. Make me an offer, I'd like to get rid of the truck.
Depending on the price I get, if we negotiate some more cash I'd be willing to fix a few things on the truck like putting a stereo in, or exhaust.
Located in Dubuque Iowa.
Now for the pics...
