I just got my 88 GT not too long ago and the electric door locks don't work. I took the door panel off and everything is hooked up. What else could it be?

you need to get new actuators for the door locks. you can buy them on ebay for real cheap, and they come with instructions. 20 min. each side tops. ebay sells all the repair kits for the common problems on stangs, like the ashtrey lid that won't stay shut and so on.

My door lock stopped working and it was because the motor died.

I've got a 1987 Mustang 5.0 LX. With my power locks, when i hit the lock doors button, the lock pins go down, but the doors sometimes stay open even after i've closed them. why is this?
