Default 3 problems?

My brother recently bought a 1998 stang gt but the odometer and speedometer don't work but the rpm's, oil pressure, battery, and fuel gauges work fine. Does he need to replace the entire cluster? Thanks

The clutch on my brother's 98 gt is really stiff and hard to press all the way down. What is the easiest way to fix? thanks.

when the car is put into neutral or down shift as the rpm's lower it will turn off unless it gets rev'd to 2k rpm's. what could this be? thanks.
