Basically you just don't have to worry finding out about where to get them painted.:D That, and the price is already including, usually ending up in a better deal only because I'm not very savvy at car stuff.

Although, if you were to paint it yourself, it would be better to go with non painted ones I would imagine.

i got my roush ones pre-painted from wheelskin.com some of their guys post here, gave me a good deal and they arived pretty quickly.
and im nto sure why your asking how they compare to the nonpainted ones, considering the only difference is painted or not

what I meant about painted vs prepainted was the cost.....I know it depends on the shop but is it generally cheaper to buy prepainted?

I got the wheelskin ones as well...you can't beat $179 for painted louvers, even if you buy them unpainted and have someone else paint them.

I like the wheelskin better than the roush. They seem to look more retro, and fit the window better. That, and the price tag.

Does anyone know of a place where I can buy the '65 style Cervini louvers pre-painted? I really don't know anyone in the area and the Ford dealership here sucks with customer service. Any help would be appreciated.

I bought a CDC chin spoiler and Xenon side scoops through Am. Muscel for less than the Mfg. price with free shipping and had them painted for $100 at a body shop. Do not try to paint them yourself. They are really tricky to paint due to the plastic mold release that will cause bubbles after painting. They often have to be done several times to get them right.
