was the new knight rider show a 2 hour movie or is it on as a series every week? i cant find the next episode.

They have shown it twice now. If there was enough interest to have them show it a second time then they might make it a series. Did you notice all the Ford vehicles in there? The crash scenes had GM products gettng messed up.

I hope they make it into a series, that is one sweet looking car. I hope the sell the red lights, so I can get me some.

The "movie" had potential, so I say they should go for it! It's something to watch on a rainy day.
And about people buying those lights... It's justified if you have a replica of the kitt car, but even then cops will not like it...

I would watch it. Actually I was disappointed when I realized it was just a movie. They did leave it off as a series so it would be no problem to start production. A shame to go through all that effort for a cast, movie cars, etc. and stop it in its tracks. They can use my car for KARR, KITT's evil brother.

Not true. NBCs fall schedule shows a Knight Rider TV series, Wednesday nights at 8pm ET.
Ain't it cool news (amongst others) has the press release.

2 versions of the KITT car were sold at B-J auction last month.
They were lots 665 and 665.1

The movie was a little painful to watch, and should have been more hard-edged or more campy and humorous. The cars were fun to watch though! The whine of the supercharger was pretty realistic
