i have done just about every modification on my car that you can do besides swapping my axle gear( don't really want to... trying to get some what decent gas milage)or S/C can't do that till warrenty runs out 7 yr or 75k. i guess the only thing i really have left to do is get detriot lockers and i was thinking about buying a t-56 one should fit in the car right i mean they do make one for the 4.6 don't they? i have seen ones for the 5.0 and the GTR has one so they are out there. i know that the 302 t-56 was in the $2500 range. i think it would help both low and top end speed and maby even give me a few more miles per gallon. if i do end up getting one then i might consider swaping out my 3.55 gear for some thing more steep. any thoughts about this tranny?

I would wait until Tremec has done full testing on the transmissions to figure out which way is best to go. Tremec.com

the guy at rpm outlet said no tune required and yes i did feel a diffrence i am going to get my car dyno'ed in the next 2 weeks(i'll let every one know my findings) because the closest dyno machine to me is an hour drive. i am also going to find a track and see what kind of #'s i can get in the 1/4 next step for me is tires and suspension along with detroit lockers and i really think i am going to get a t-56 when i can find out more information about them. and yes forced induction is in the far off future but not for awhile.

Hey Silver,
Ever consider a REAL 6 speed ? ;) Not one of those sloppy 4 speeds wit 2 overdrives :D

When I blow up the 5 speed in mine I will be replacing it with a Richmond 6 speed (like I put in my 66)
