Good luck with the custom rocker; it should improve the looks dramatically and make the side-exit pipes look purposeful. Don't forget to share with us the updated pictures!

Yes, something like this. But I still think it's silly to have side-exit duals for a V6.
Nice GT500, by the way.
Its a gt with the Cervini kit on it . One of my favorite GT's on the boards

This car reminds of that movie Dead Ringer, where the two doctor brothers decided to get on drugs and experiment with surgical procedures. The result, as you can imagine, was utterly horrific.

well it basically looks like a mickey mouse job at this stage. but it supposedly gave a strong bump in hp/torq numbers so lets give him a chance to make the setup actually look halfway decent at the least.

Cervinni's needs to make this kit WORK.... AND look right in my opinion. They were the first to market it (I think), and ground clearance issues were an apparent problem from what I have read, even at stock car heights. I would have bought this if I hadn't heard about so many issues with their side exhaust system.
If Cervinni's has solved this problem, and I'm out of date on my research, someone please let me know? O/P may have been looking for a cheeper way to get side exhaust.
Thanks to the Original Poster (O/P) for taking one for the team and trying his best to show us another option for the side exhaust.

IMO Cervinis could care less about clearance on these side exhausts... they designed a great product that really works and the car itself and the (undercarriage) is low (unibody) and will always be a problem unless the side exhaust is thru the stock (or similarily higher) rocker panels. Roush and others have the same problem and it has always been this way since side exhausts were introduced IMO...unless it was a viper (true side exit exhaust from the front fender out to the rear fender well) and is a risk I thought was worth taking.... The o/p did try and IMO failed but he does not have the research and design put into it like from the "big" aftermarket companies out there. But if he likes it (that all that matters) and I too applaud him for trying!!!!!!!!!!!!! JMO J

ionno if this has been said yet, but when u fix it up and try to fit it into the rocker, i suggest making the tips look a little more finished (ie. polished, chrome)
