I haven't actually seen the whole thing yet (so I'm not sure how it comes out), but thought I'd post this anyway.
Saleen S281 and the 427R taken off the show room floor from the same dealer and tossed on a track to do a head to head comparison.
Interestingthat they got the cars from Grand Prairie Ford (in Texas -- the dealer that kept Georgia for two weeks in order to change out her third brakelight and then returned her with a dent) and raced them at Thunderhill in CA. What, they ran out of cars in California??

Not to flame on anyone, but its funny that a Roush guy posts the vid where the Roush wins, then says - I haven't seen the video yet... I'm not sure how it comes out.... [&:]
I do know one thing, Roushes are a LOT more prevalent around this area, take that how you will.
I consider it a benefit to have a rare breed of Mustang. They also left out the part where the Saleen looks better.

Hmmm. To be honest I think the video is backwards. This isnt to say the Saleen shouldve won. What I mean is that I would think the Roush would win the handling and the Saleen win the acceleration...the opposite happened here. Very nice cars!

I was thinking that also.
Remember also that the 427R doesn't even have the road coarse suspension package like the Stage 3's and Trak Pak's.
