new member posting for the first time. I will tell you a little bit about my passion (my car). I have created a 1000rwhp mustang gt. I bought a 1995 gt off of my uncle for 7g's and there my quest thus began. i own a car shop in alamo california and me and my best friend james had a crazy idea. we decieded to make a mustang enter the quadruple digit numbers. Yes we did acomplish our goal and we made a 1000 horse power pony and if you want any more info on how to create a beast like mine feel free to email me if you have any questions. skaiterboy89@yahoo.com

yes i wanna know whats in this "1000hp" stang. and are you trying to say its street legal? 1000 hp isnt a big deal to get if you have alot of money and dont wanna drive it on the street. so im just wondering should we be totally in awe of you, is that what the point of your post was?

im guess either one BIGASS turbo(t88 or the like) or twin medium turbos......either way, we NEED pictures, dyno sheet, and video's are optional.

It is an estimated number we believe it to be very close if not over 1000hp i am sorry i do not have a dyno sheet but i am takeing it to the shop this weekend. Here is just a little bit about the car. Once agian i am sorry for not supplying a dyno sheet but i know alot of BS is said around hear and i just want you to know i am telling you the truth i am a 42 year old man and have a family of 6 i have no reason to lie i just want to benefit my fellow mustang lovers. The suspension is a cornucopia of Griggs Racing items: tubular front K-member and A-arms, and rear trailing arms with an adjustable panhard bar. A Griggs torque arm and Granatelli Motor Sports anti-sway bars help keep the twist under control. Koni coil-overs and Baer Pro Race disc brakes are on each corner, as are 18 inch Wheel Vintiques Billet Mach I wheels and Kumho Ecsta tires. While the chassis was under the Sawzall, forced induction wizard Kenny Duttweiler was busy building a 525 cubic inch, all-aluminum big block. Inside the Ford Racing 460 aluminum block is a Crower reciprocating assembly, JE forged flat-top pistons, and a .580/.614 inch lift Crane hydraulic roller camshaft. Trick Flow ported a set of its A460 aluminum heads, and Mr. Duttweiler merged a Hogan EFI sheetmetal intake, DFI fuel injection, and a Paxton Novi 2000 supercharger into a killer induction system. On the dyno with 15 pounds of boost, the 525 made 958 horsepower and 863 foot-pounds of torque. Add another 5 pounds of boost, and you’re looking at 1,000 horsepower. The rest of the drivetrain is hell for stout too—Tremec TKO five-speed gearbox with a RAM clutch and flywheel, and a Ford Racing 9 inch rear axle with Moser 31-spline axles, a Strange pumpkin, Richmond 3.25 gears, and a Detroit Locker. The crew at Euro-Body in Reseda, California handled the body and paint chores. They attached the Cervini body kit and cowl hood to the Mustang’s sheetmetal, modified the back seat area to accept a Saleen Speedster tonneau cover, and covered it all with fords speedster red paint. The cool GT 525 stripes were done by Graphic Design in santa cruz. Type: 525 cubic inch Ford 460, 958 horsepower/863 foot-pounds torque at 15 psi boost, 1,000 horsepower at 20 psi boost Block: Ford Racing aluminum Reciprocating Assembly: Crower billet crank and connecting rods, 8.5:1 JE forged pistons Camshaft: Crane hydraulic roller, 280°/300° advertised duration, .580”/.614” lift Cylinder Heads: Trick Flow A460 aluminum, fully ported Induction: Hogan EFI sheetmetal intake with DFI fuel injection system, MSD 72 lb. injectors, Paxton Novi 2000 supercharger Ignition: MSD Exhaust: Modified Pro Mustang Performance headers, Borla stainless steel exhaust, all HPC coated Transmission: Tremec t-56 6-speed with Ram clutch and flywheel Other Items: Be Cool aluminum radiator, Meziere electric water pump, ARP fasteners, Aeroquip plumbing, Powermaster starter and alternator, custom front accessory drive and motor plate engine work all done by James Dunbar and Craig Tanner
