so you dont have any mods on that thing? what gear where you starting in?

Mach is bone stock, starting in 3rd gear (I thought I was going 75, looking back on it looks more like 50, so shoulda been in 2nd).

Starting in 3rd gear at a 40 mph roll? Try second next time. It looks like a case of the TA being a better driver.

yeah i was about to say dump it in 2nd and you'll stand more of a chance, have you even removed the air silencer yet?

Havn't removed the air silencer, and the K&N filter is still in the box in the family room heh. I'v had the car for about 3-3.5 months so he probly is a better driver. For whatever reason I remember looking at the speedo and seeing 75, that's why I was not in 2nd. Later the TA driver was saying we started at 40. Personally I belive him, but would love a rematch, if for no other reason than more footage of a car in front of me (first race I'v lost so far)

Sorry to burst your bubble but that's not a '98 it's a '96-'97. That's an LT1 motor not an LS1. Just thought I would correct your mis information in the video.
