I'm sure I'm the only one here that has owned a 2005 V6 and a 2005 GT, so my opinion is the only that counts
Sure V6 is cheaper, by about $40 a month, and an additional $14 a month for insurance. Gas is about the same in both. That little 1-2 mi/gal is only city driving difference, and equivalates out to about $1.25 a tank. I've had my V6 going faster than my GT so far. Over 120 there isn't much difference, getting there is. And in getting there, the GT just has much more acceleration, the V6 has nothing in this category. The GT sounds better. The GT, has the cool looking GT letters on the side. The most important, the satisfaction of knowing you have a GT rather than a V6.
I'm glad I have a GT now rather than a V6, and I do thank God for sending that Mini Van driver to total my V6
In a race between a V6 and a GT, we all know who will loose; and Losers always whine about their best, while Winners go home and @#$% the prom queen.

These threads crack me up, who the hell needs cable? Let me take a guess here, all those GT owners who belittle the V6's and V6er's who belittle the GT owners probably have the top 3 bottoms on the shirts unbottoned, wear a gold chain or two, wear their sunglasses when driving when it's dark and don't forget the nifty leather driving gloves and when they see a cute women or man (in some of your cases) you puff your chests out and walk with a swagger. Those of you with this better than or whatever you want to call it attitude need to stop cluttering up the Mustang forums with your character defects and inadequacies. [sp.].

Hate sports... no worries... The only sport that should be televised is "Ultimate Fighting"....
Oh and Don they were not my cousins, but they were your MOM and your AUNT! - BTW it's ok if you wanna call me daddy! - Booya!
And since I do live in TN now I felt that it was obligitory that I slap the 35" Mickey Thompson Baja Radial Claws on the ol' F-150... So now when I am out drinking my beer on the front lawn while cleaning my guns I can admire your license plate stuck in the tread pattern....

Those of us who bought the GT bought it cause we are power mongers,Jerks and just plain @$$holes. So what kind of treatment do you expect to get from someone who could easily buy a nice, fun, sporty, let's go to the beach and have a picknic V6, but didn't. Instead us GT owners went out for the I am way to friggin loud as I burn out from this Red light what you think your fast lets race B!tch kind of car. Face it, it reflects on personality very much. V6=nice guy. V8=@$$hole.
So what kind of posts do you expect from people who on purpose went out and bought an 8?
