I have a v6 with jba true duel exhaust, jba headers, k&n CAI, throttle body spacer, and ignition wires. If i were to get a tuner would I need to customize it based on the mods I have done or would the stock tunes do? There are many flash tuners out there to choose from superchips, diablo sport, .. ect ect any opinions on which to go with?
well i know the SCTs are pretty simple... and I'm sure that diablo and a couple of the others are the same.
For SCT, B@m@chips, Brenspeed, and VMP tuning are all highly spoken of on these forums. If you purchase an SCT Xcal II/III, with the custom tunes from any one of these guys I honestly don't think you can go wrong.
All you have to do is go to their sites, place your order, and the order form will prompt you to fill in your modifications, and any one of these tuners can get you a fairly decent tune for your exact setup. From what I've read, it looks like going through one of them will make more use out of your setup (reach closer to full potential) than just purchasing a tuner with generic or "canned" tunes.

Well spoken Danbevsv6rumbler. I like my B.A.M.Achips tunes.
XCal/II or III, Predator, Diablo.....all are reputable.
I chose XCal III with B.A.M.A tunes because Dougs site was laid out nice and allowed me to enter all my mods I had when ordering my tuner. Made for a great custom tune. Other sites may be the same, but I had heard nothing but good things about Doug and his tunes before I got my CAI and tuner. XCal III is simple as hell to use as well. I hope you like your new tunes!
