What's the latest on getting X-plan pricing for a 08 Shelby GT. Some posts on the net suggest that this is possible, but the Ford partner site says it's not. I'm confused. Anyone here got X-plan pricing on a 08 SGT?
I dont have an 08 but I have x plan pricing on an 07 sgt.

OK, I dropped by the stealership. They had a few thousands of markup on the 08 SGT and wouldn't take X-plan of course. The next day they had another same 08 SGT sitting next to it. I didn't bother going back.
They had a used 07 SGT, but they were asking $41k for it, forget that too! The hood scoop looked like crap on that one BTW.
i work for a dealership and i just picked up a 07 SGT for d-plan today. i've been looking for a while and as of now ford isn't allowing AZDX (the different plans) on any 2008 models. they probably won't till the 2009 models come out, and by then there might not be many left. That's what they did for the 2007's, which they produced more of, according to the proposed numbers. they just started the discounts on them about a month or two ago. your best bet is to find a dealership with a 2007, you should be able to get an x-plan on that, since they will want to stop paying floor-plan on a 07 when the 08's have been out for a while. good luck on your search.

Thanks bud, that explains the contradictory info I read about X-plan on SGTs, those who could get it probably bought it at the end of the 07 model year. I'll ping the few dealerships in my area.
I'm assuming that the X-plan applies only to the base GT pricing and not the Shelby add-ons, correct?

In the Mid-Atlantic area, currently: 2007 Shelby GT's can be bought for $500 or so under invoice + up to $3,000 Ford and Ford Credit rebates. 2008 Shelby GT's are selling for invoice.
