Default HELP!!

Heres the deal..i'm working on installing a panasonic 6.5' dual din in my 08 mustang. Now, when i'm removing the console/trimming..how do you remove the electric cords that connect to the "1,2,3,4" selector on the bottom left. Or the selector for how you want the air flow. I can't seem to be able to remove either of these. Thanks.

Default RE: HELP!!

To remove those just take a flat head screwdriver and use it to pry the bottom of the black plug from the connector. That one is kinda difficult to remove, but it will slide off once you pry it a little bit.

Default RE: HELP!!

Yea, its a kind of clip. Just push it down using a flatheadlike luckydawg said and then pull by the connector, not wires.
