Just thought I would post this if anyone in the (IL) area is looking, I am tempted to offer 40-42K just to see if and what they say or counter with. :)

they could probably tell if you were not serious!
If you were, I'd bet you could get it for $42K if you showed up with your checkbook!
That's too high a price for a used GT500. Even with only 5000 miles, it USED!

Considering these are limited production cars and will only go up in value over time, that's not a bad price.

A dealer would try to stick it to you even moreso.

they are not limited edition cars really....dealers have them sitting on lots right now that any Joe or Susie could go buy.  There are not as many GT500s as GTs i agree but there are still many out there available used or new.  The KR or SS are in limited production IMO and maybe the bullet, but the gt500 not so much
