So... this isn't one of those posts about turning my car into a mock-Knight Rider... no, it's far better...

I was watching some promo vids on the website http://www.kittsite.com/, when i came across one that showed the making of the kitt car.

The stunt car (or cars) are v6ers baby! That's right... the ones that take the beating and the brunt are our little babies

Just thought you guys would like to know

Now I can say my car is basically the same as the one in the movie (the stunt one at least...): No ABS, No Traction control, and all v6 fury!!!

makes sense, no need to bash-up a REAL shelby, just put a body kit on a 6er and it'll be just as cool!

I pointed that out long ago.  You could tell because they didn't bother to change the rear spoiler from the V6 one.

TV people finally learned their lesson after The Dukes Of Hazzard show in the 80's.  They wrecked so many RT 400 Chargers, Dodge should have sued them. To this day, that precious VIN number and engine casting are very easily worth 30k with a little resto work.
