Default Changing a radio trim piece on 03 Cobra

I’m thinking about changing my radio trim piece in my 2003 cobra to an older piece. The piece that I’m talking about is the trim that goes around the center ac vents all the way down to the shifter. The reason is that I want to install a SCT Livewire tuner in my care but I don’t want to stick it on my dash, I think that looks like ass. With the older trim piece I can install a normal cheap ½ din size radio then fabrucate a holder for the SCT and the three buttons in the lower one. Does anyone know if the two trim pieces are the same size?

Default RE: Changing a radio trim piece on 03 Cobra

The trim pieces should be identical as far as molds along the outsides, but the metal reinforcements will be diff on the dash as far as radio reconfiguration, but if your handy that shouldn't be a problem
