Default Tail light jumper?

I did a search in all the forums and didn't find this subject, so I'm posting it here.

Has anybody ever "jumped their brake lights? The other day I was driving down town behind another 2002 or so Mustang. I noticed that when he put on his brakes, all of his tail lights lit up rather than just the normal two. When I asked him how he did it, he said he "jumped" them.

Anybody have any ideas what the heck that means?

Default RE: Tail light jumper?

Just splice one of the wires from either of the two vertical columns that lights up into the inner column that doesn't light up. It's really simple. I did it to my car.
