I have 02 bulleit rims 17x8 with 245/45 tires on them now, I am going to get 17x10 rims with 245/45 tires that I want to replace. My question is would my tires I have now fit the new rims? Sorry if this is stupid but I know nothing about tires/wheels

245s would fit an 8" wheel well. For a 10" look for a 275 or 285, 295 if you want a fat rear. Are you getting 17 x 10s all around? If so best to get all matching size tires so you can rotate. 275/35s should do you well, 275/30 with a little less ride quality.

so is the guy wrong when he says these have 245/45 on the 17x10 now? and so basically my 245/45 17x8 tires will not fit then? because of the 2" difference

On my 06 I am running a 245/40/20 on my 8.5" fronts. there a tight fit. i don't see how they could fit a 10". I also have 20 x 10 rears. 275/35/20. My 275 is a tight fit for the rear as well. A 245 couldn't fit my rear 10" wheels.
A little advice. Are you sure you want 10" fronts? Not many people run them and are very wide for fronts.

I don't think it would hurt anything. I just don't think you could turn sharp without rubbing in the front. that's real wide for fronts. The rears will be fine. Are you sure he doesn't have a staggered set? With the wide rears and reg. fronts? If so, the 245s would be for the fronts, they won't be good for a 10". No way.

Yea no problem. I remember how much a pain it was trying to find the right tires. make sure the rims are compatible with your lug pattern and offset before you buy. Ex - your 02 wheels wouldn't fit the same as my 06 wheels on each others car, etc.

well he said they are all four 17x10's

He said they came off an 01 so I imagen they should fit my 02
So how much rubing would you say they would do on corners? like every turn, only when I turn the wheel all the way, what?

This sucks I thought I was all set to get my rims f*%k
