Went in "hot pursuit" and then proceeded to ask the owner if I could take a couple of pictures.
He opened the hood, but I did not take a picture of that. It was interesting to say the least...

i think it would have been cool if Ford would have brought back chrome bumpers for the s197's.

there is chrome trim available for the bumpers

I think the new mustang would look awful with chrome bumpers... It looks great on the mustangs from yester year though...

My dad-in-law loved the photo's I took.

That is awesome. I went to a few car shows last summer and saw people who owned a vintage Mustang along with a new one and they would park them side by side. It is very cool to see.

They really do look great together. The styling cues are unmistakable! I hope the updated version is going to look more like the 67-68. And if they keep with the retro styling the "new NEW" mustang would look killer... Even though I love the 71-73's, and want one in my driveway, the 1969 model is the ultimate mustang bad-@$$.
