im "a dodge guy", and im not too worried about it...the viper is cool, but there are faster cars for less money now, and the viper doesnt bring in any revenue to dodge. they need to make a realistic high end car, such as fords gt500...that doesnt cost 80 grand..something like a high end challenger.

Well they do have the SRT8 challenger now...but I wouldnt really consider that to be a 'high performer'.

They need something that can compete well with the bang for buck of the vette. ( I dont see that happening tho)

SRT8 challenger is a 4150lb car putting out 425hp, they say maybe high 13s, 0-60 in 5ish sec. the thing is a sherman tank

it doesnt really bother me too much that the viper's going, besides its not like its necessarily gone for good, they can always bring it back later

If they bring the Viper back sometime in the future, they better have a good design for it. I saw the current Viper the other day and the back of it looks horrendous.

The original Viper was one of my favorite cars. Awesome looking, V10, what else could you want?

The original is still my favorite as none of the new body styles ever did it for me.

The SRT-8 Challenger will tick off a lot better than high 13's.....
