hello everyone, I have a 1968 289 automatic mustang which I want to convert to stick shift. I have a donor car which is a 1968, 200 6cyl stick shift everything is there and in  petty good shape. my question is, will the gear box from the six cylinder bolt up to the 289 motor ?
before I start this conversion just want to know what I should be prepared for?  any information would be appreciated thank you for help

+1 - Except, the 6cyl.s were often 3 speeds, what do you have, and waht do you want? Most want the 4 sp. for the 289.

well the donor gear box is 3 spd but that doesnt matter i can up grade later as long as it makes my car a stick shift cause i dont like automatic cars. this gives me time to save up for a t5. i just want to drive my car
