i wont leave it i call BS,
im not saying you couldnt beat him in the 1/4, but up to 140 your aero blows big hairy balls, no way you could've kept up and won at over 120+
i need a video for this one for me to believe.

So a 340whp (average) car with the top down (loses a lot of aerodynamics) cant lose to a 390whp coupe? Once again I am not saying I won. Just saying we stayed even.

ok even with his top down there is a 300 lb weight diffrence, so his 3300lb vs your lets say only 3600lbs thats a big diffrence.

Weight at speed doesn't make a big difference...
.34 and large frontal area vs .30~.31 (top down) and a small frontal area is a big difference.

I dont see what the big deal is, maybe the guy in the vett couldn't drive, though he even stated that the guy was gaining on him. If they would've kept going the vett probably would have passed him. BUT, on that race he beat the vett, who cares......Nice Job

His 03/04 Cobra has a curb weight of 3650lbs.....A convertable C6 is 3250.....Thats 400lbs....
A vert with the top down will not cut through the air as well as with the top up or a coupe, but with that little extra drag is it enough to hinder it's top end for him to keep up with his "near stock" Cobra? IDK....I won't call BS, but I will say you have a strong running snake........

Allright, time for my .02
Everyone knows Doodad, and for those of you people that do not come on to this site enough, he had one fast 03 Cobra. His stock Dyno was over 380 RWHP. Now, an 07 C6 not including the driver weigh in at 3300 lbs. So, approx 400 lbs weight difference. LS2 C6's dyno around 350 RWHP. So, a 50 RWHP difference, will not keep the guy neck and neck with one? What is everyone smoking. How many people have been in a Cobra? I have. When doodad had a stock Cobra, his 3rd gear pulls harder then all hell. Not to mention, they have great top end pulling capability. Hell, top speed for a bone stock cobra is 170+. Now, if the OP said, he killed a C6 Vert up past 140+, that would be a little hard to believe. He stated that he stayed dead even with one. I believe the OP 100%.
PS~ now go and get a 2.6" pulley, a custom tune, intake, and exhaust w/midpipe,and you will see low 11's and trap 123-125. Then you can kill bolt-on C6's.
