For the last few months I was looking for a Saleen-specific forum to gain more information on events, parts and other Saleen owners and admirers.

I didnt find any, so I created my own: SaleenTalk.com

Too bad you did not stumble on to SaleenChat.com before doing all that work. They have been around since the 90's, and is who the Saleen Club of America partnered with for their web forums, as they are the largest Saleen specific board, and even have a few Saleen employees who stop by every now and again.
