Ok So Ive searched and found nothing answering my specific question. I just picked up a 2005 v6 stang I got it pretty cheap because the engine in it is junk the girl who owned it never changed her oil, it runs like crap and barely makes any oil pressure. Instead of swapping in a modular v8 I want to swap in a 408 stroker and use a tremec t56 transmission. Do you know of any aftermarket bellhousings that are made to mate a t56 to a 408 (351w).

I got it for 7500 dollars. Other than the engine its in good shape. She said she was gonna use the money as a down payment on a 3 series bmw. I hope she changes her oil in that car because bmw engines are alot more expensive to replace than ford engines. Lol @ civic...fwd sucks, theres some dude who lives down the street from me who put 10,000 dollars into his civic and it only made 215 ft lbs of tq haha but he thinks its the fastest car on the planet.

I would check with this company for bellhousings, Torch_Vert just posted about them recently.

I would reccomend a 6060 trans over the t56 depending on your budget. Yes there is most likely a ton of these bellhousings available. I am not on the correct computer but i have a few companies saved on my other one.

Are you looking at doing a carbed of fuel injected 408 stroker? That would be a really beefy setup and you could make 5-600rwhp na if you know what you are doing.

This is the route I would go if we had no smog nonsense here.

Not changing the oil wouldn't screw up your engine that bad.. There was this site that did a test on oil changes and they had one car go for 200,000+ without an oil change.. I call BS on the no oil change screwing up the engine.

Ford brought back the Boss 302 crate engine.

The one on the very right is the one I want.

Probably didn't add any oil either.  Try running with dirty oil 3 or 4 quarts low.

I'm calling BS on your mechanical apptitude. Not changing oil is the worst thing you can do.

Yup, same here, an engine needs oil more than it needs gas. Run an engine out of gas, and it will start the next time you fill it. Run an engine out of oil, and it will never start again. Hack, you will be lucky if the oil fill tube isn't melted to the engine.

Hey boyz, (and girlz) I'm an old dog who laid under one to many rides and I have some advice from the years. Sell what you got and buy what you want!! Its not worth the effort. If what you ain't fast enough, buy a GT. You are in for a headache.
