Well i dont know if any of you have noticed but i havent been on since tuesday....Well at about 10:30 pm tuesday night an f4 tornado ripped through lafayette. So far approx. 20 people have been killed and this is in a very small town. I will try to get some pictures up as soon as possible. But as far as my property, all the shingles are gone from my roof, some windows were blown out, my poolhouse is gone and we cant find any of it, and my shop is gone which was holding my car...which is now totaled.....But my grandmas house was a complete loss....she is considered by all the local news groups and cnn as the luckiest woman in town....I will show you pictures of her house as soon as i can.....But if you guys have any free time on your hands please just pray for everyone in Lafayette, TN. Pray for the people who lost their homes and especially the people who lost family members......

I saw that stuff on tv man, such a bad little thing mother nature can be. At least you and your family are ok. All the material stuff can be replaced. Good luck getting everything back together and let us know if you need anything.

Man, sounds pretty tragic to me, I hope you get everything back in order and get that Mustang back on the street.  How bad is the mustang, you say it's totalled?  Hopefully it isn't the roof or the rear, front clips are easy to come by!  Good Luck and God Bless!

I feel you, sort of. I live in Illinois and we got the northern tip of the storm. I was trying to drive home in the storm... Bad idea. lol

I was driving through a town when I saw a transformer blow and the entire side of the town I was on just went out. When I got back into my hometown half the town was with out electricity and the roads were flooding everywhere. I got to my house and the road was flooded all to hell and back, power was out, trees were blown over. They said that we had winds up to 90mph. Got back to campus the next day and several trees and power-lines had been blown over. It was definitely not a good storm.

i have pics....first off, my house which wasnt majorly damaged....

now for my garage where my car thought it was safe....

now for my car....

and i saved the most amazing pics for last....my grandmas house...less than 1/4 mile from my house.....

this is her bedroom where she was watching tv...my mom called her at appr. 10:20 and the storm hit at appr. 10:24

this is where she hid...she was under the wall that fell over...

this was her garage and her car...normally from this pic you would see the back of her car....

can be replaced. Im glad you were all okay. I saw that on the
television. You just never know when mother nature is going to
strike. Good luck with everything. My prayers are with you and

Yes....that's my name and it's okay to call me Cindy.
We are getting ready to go into our tornado season
shortly and every year it seems to get worse around
here. Right now we are getting hit with all that wind,
snow, and ice. Some days we even get all the seasons
in one day. Last week in the morning when I went into
work it was sunny and in the 50's. By noon it started getting
cloudy and windy and then by 2:30 it started raining and the temp.
dropped and then it hailed not only once but 3 time within the
hour. Then it got so cold and then it started sleeting and by
7:30pm it was snowing like a blizzard. I left work at 11:02pm
and I could not even see to drive. It was blowing so much.
When it was raining and  hailing so hard and the tempature
dropped so fast, we thought we were going to get hit with
a tornado. It was scary for a while.  Anyway, I hope things
get back to normal for you real soon. Keep us posted.
