This is a great thread. I often wonder who you guys are and what you do other than own a Mustang. I'm Andy, I live on the North Shore of Mass, 31 years old and I'm an interactive designer. Attached is a pic of my wife and I and of course my mustang.

Nineteen66mustang you could try to go to School of Mines.

I applied and was accepted to Mines, but decided to choose CU. Evidently mines is best for everything except mechanical engineering, and i guess CU has one of the best schools for that in the area. Also, Mines is really small, really tough, and there are 9 guys to every girl. ya, not cool.

Lightened the picture up a little to see what was in there. DID HER PARENTS KNOW ABOUT THIS?!?!?!

And how do you get SIX people in a Mustang without rear tires rubbing on the back fenders?

[image]local://upfiles/82474/6F075AEE68EE4E60920A2CFD2ABD0D7D.jpg[/image]

Haha, ya her parents did know... she was going out with the guy next to her... The tires were rubbing like mad. I already have a crappy shock that would rub occasionally, and it was almost rubbing the whole time there... oh well, it was fun.

man, i dont know why, but i love this thread, its so interesting...

Haha, been there. This summer before I had my new leafs in I had five people in my car and the tires rubbed on every little bump, never doing that again.[:D]

gottamustang -> RE: This is me (2/10/2008 1:55:21 PM)

Yep, this is a good thread.  We often just have pictures of our cars, so why not us with the car(s)?  My dad usually posts' on here.  Here is a picture of me with the Stang that we restored, we've had it for close to 20 years.  We started when I was 10 and on my 15th birthday when I came home from school  my dad had just finished painting it. Drove it my sophomore, junior and senior year.  I am away at college now and it drives me crazy to be five hours away from it. My sister drives it to school some and dad drives it to crusie-in's.

Jeff, 38 years old :gasp:, professional engineer (civil), play ice hockey in an adult league, live in an L.A. suburb, house marked with an 'A' below:

This is where I spent my free time and money while my Mustangs hibernated for 10+ years.
[image]http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b264/pupntaco/tn_IMG_7978.jpg[/image]
I now spend most of it on my four kids (5, 5, 3 & 1 years old) and have pretty much parked the Jeep for the last year or so as I restored the fastback.  The only pic I have of me and the car is when I was dismantling it, my father lending a bit of muscle.

Hi guys,

This is me, a French far from home living in a beautiful city. Even if my engine seems to be asking for a complete rebuild, I still feel very happy to drive one of "your" classic :)

... and I am sorry but one day I'll bring it back with me [:D]

DanK69RustangVert -> RE: This is me (2/12/2008 7:47:45 AM)

This is a great thread! Some great cars, and It is nice to put a face to people and know a little about them.

I am 48 (Yeah, I know "Old Fart" right?) live in Independence, Missouri (Harry Truman country, not far from his Presidential library).

In my younger days I burned the candle at both ends and lit a bonfire in the middle work wise. I was a restaurant owner, had 2 locations spent lots of hours working and took no vacations for nearly 20 years. Now I have sold out and spend my time working with kids (Boy Scouts of America) I have always been in Scouting since I was a Cub Scout but now I can spend my summers working at the local council summer camp (I run a dining hall... what a shock. :))

During the winter my wife and I take 2-3 vacations per year (To make up for all the years we missed) and love to SUBA dive in the Carib.

Wow, thinking about it... no wounder I have had this car for 3 years and am no further along than I am.

Here are some pics, 1st - the "Rustang" arriving and going into the shop at my Dad's place. (Thats the only time I have "Driven" my car, 1.5 mph under the power of the lawn tractor. :( ) Then me with my "Messtang". 3rd -My Wife and I at the peak of Salt Isle. B.V.I. in '06. 4th - We were at "Sunset House" in the Cayman Islands Dec. '07. and finally my Staff giving me a birthday "Surprise" at the H.Roe Bartle Scout Reservation.
