I finally got all the parts to assemble my new 9".  It was really cold out, so I decided to bring it indoors.  Nothing like a 9" in your kitchen!

I got it all from summit racing.  Basically free shipping, like a 10.95 handling charge.  Quick too.

Very cool. I usually get bent over with shipping!

How much for the setup? I'm currently building up an assembly using some used parts and some new parts since Im on a budget...    Lots of time, not so much with the money

I got the rear housing and axles, with all the bearings and seals already pressed and ready to bolt on for $970.  I got the 3rd member for just under $1400.  It is the nodular case with 3.75 gears and the tru trac posi unit.  I got a little bit of cash tied up in the rear.  I also bought all new leafs from Maier racing, new shackles, new spring plates from Maier racing, rear adjustable sway bar, edelbrock shocks, new comp. eng. ubolts, and Bear disc brakes with the built in parking brakes.  I am putting in an adjustable pan hard bar from Maier racing too because I want to and it looks cool.  It should improve the handling out of corners, at least a little.

baddog671: I'm getting a complete 9" rearend, trac loc with disc brakes for under 2000$.
let me know if interested and I'll give you more details via PM. I don't have the setup, I guess I'll have all parts in a months time, so I cannot say anything about it
